Terms of Use

Effective date: July 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of the CCD Educator Wellness Portal (the “Portal”), operated by The Center for Child Development (“CCD”). By creating an account or using the Portal, you agree to them.

1. Educational use only — not clinical care

The Portal provides educational resources for educators and school staff. It is not therapy, counseling, clinical supervision, medical advice, or emergency care, and it does not create a clinical relationship between you (or your students) and CCD. Always follow your district’s policies and crisis procedures. Mandated reporting laws continue to apply to you in full. If there is an emergency, contact 911 or follow your school’s emergency protocol — do not rely on the Portal.

2. Your account

  • Accounts are individual. Keep your password private and don’t share your login.
  • Access requires approval by CCD and may be limited to staff of partner schools.
  • Provide accurate information at signup, and don’t enter student names or student records anywhere in the Portal.

3. Using the materials

  • Portal content is owned by CCD or its contributors and is protected by copyright.
  • You may stream videos, and print or copy worksheets and handouts for use in your own school or classroom.
  • You may not resell Portal content, post it publicly, redistribute it outside your school, or remove CCD attribution.
  • Student-facing printables are for use with students under adult guidance; they are not assessments or therapy materials.

4. Membership levels

Some content is available to all approved members and some requires a premium membership, typically provided through a school partnership. CCD may change which content is included in each level. Access ends when your membership, employment at a partner school, or the school’s partnership with CCD ends.

5. Contributor content

If you contribute content to the Portal under CCD’s contributor program, you confirm the content is your own work (or properly licensed), you have reviewed it for accuracy, and you grant CCD the right to edit, format, publish, and distribute it through the Portal with attribution to you. Compensation, if any, is governed by your separate arrangement with CCD.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Portal: no attempting to access other members’ accounts or restricted content, no scraping or bulk downloading, no uploading unlawful or harmful material, and no using the Portal in a way that violates your district’s policies.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Portal and its content are provided “as is.” While our materials are created and reviewed by qualified professionals, CCD makes no warranty that any resource is suitable for a particular situation, and professional judgment always remains yours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Portal, and its total liability is limited to the amount paid for your access, if any.

8. Termination and changes

CCD may suspend or end access for violation of these terms, and may update these terms or the Portal itself over time. If we make material changes we’ll update the effective date above and notify active members. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
